I need a sheet of what we used to call 1/8th white-faced hardboard.  The sort of thing that is usually found as the back panel of any kitchen unit.  I suppose I could use MDF and paint it myself but that is usually too thick.

Has anyone seen any in a brico here?

Could it be “panneau d’isorel blanc”. This is what I found on Castorama website , or is it too thick ?

I got a sheet from Gedimat a couple of years ago.

That looks like it, judging by the description it would certainly do the job.

Many thanks.  I just need to find a source that’s not two hours drive away.

Another gold star for you.  That is the right product but in odd sizes that would require buying 50% more to cover the area with a lot of joins and waste most of that extra 50%.   The full size sheet in your first link would have been usable in one piece with less waste but as well as being a long way to go they no longer stock it.

I do appreciate you trying to help.    :good:

I found some sheets in Bricorama three years ago.

At €43 a sheet the same ones are probably still there.

Good effort though, Bricorama is within reach but that price just doesn’t make sense.
