I just downloaded “Stuff the British Stole“.
Has anyone seen it? Is it worth some hours of my time?
otherwise have just been catching up (after the soccer) on the fall schedule of Blue Bloods, the FBI universe, the NCIS universe, Chicago PD,Fire n Med & the new sitcoms – the Conners, The Neighborhood, Home Economics, Young Sheldon, Family Guy and American Dad…
Any other interesting series out there?
Anonymous7th December 2022 at 2:57 pm #576834Just binged “That 70s Show”…. Worth it…
Nice to see all the actors when they were young & how they have grown – except Ashton Kutcher…
Wilmer Valderrama compared to today with NCIS and then is a drastic change
Anonymous7th December 2022 at 8:32 pm #576856I’m watching mr marmite in the garden….more entertaining than any tv.
he has two cats watching him at close quarters…
The sun is actually shining.
I’ve cooked some mince pies…to warm him up.
Mr M must be a strong man….
Thanks pj…as slavery is alive and well in this sad world..!
imight be able to sleep now.
A good friend lives in Leicester and reckons slavery in the textile mills is alive and kicking. The worst is that the police etc are fully aware of it but turn a blind eye.

I find many of the US series blends into one,I find the British series have more variety.
As for US
humorsorry humour, I don’t find much of it very funny, MASH excluded. That is ok man; it takes a couple of years or more for people across the pond to receive and/or view American fads.
Going to take a lot longer than a couple of years..
increasingly I find the tv is a wonderful sleeping pill…I have started watching so,many things….rarely do I see the end.
The French system on tv is an evening of the same program…dozing off in between I am often totally confused missing the end of one episode and the beginning of the next.
I much prefer a good film.
I am glad I am not the only one that often starts to watch a programme, then am totally mystified by what’s happening only to realise that it’s now a totally different one!
The downside, apart from not knowing what on earth happened in what I was watching, is that I have the quenched my immediate need for sleep so, when I get to bed, am still wide awake at 2am!!
When I can stay awake, because I am either not interested, or can’t get into any programme, I end up watching feel good, predictable Christmas movies ( stands back & waits for the flack, which I am sure will come!!)
