I like it when a famous but unworthy candidate is unseated and I expect a lot of that this time round.

As expected it’s a labour government this morning. For me, I am ecstatic :yahoo:   not because we have a labour government but because I have witnessed the tories being decimated. I have waited all my adult life to see this. Highlights……………….obnoxious gullis, gone, fabricant, boris lookalike clown, gone, arrogant keegan, gone, mordaunt, gone, worthless arrogant obnoxious coffrey, the one who allowed all the rivers and waterways to be flooded with filth, flushed away :good:   and the biggest scalp, jacob rees-slob the most arrogant, obnoxious, neanderthal, privillaged pratt, gone :bye: :bye:

Still along way to go and looking forward to more scalps to come. At last the British people are taking revenge for the decimation of the UK by the tories, must get back to the election, lots still to see :good:

Lovely to see you so happy John….

    now the work starts….

Corbyn has snuck back in…worst result of the night.

A country gets the government it deserves….

    Stupid truss…… gone  :yahoo:   :yahoo:

Why worry about corbyn? he is just a single independent seat. I am annoyed that the taxpayer has to pay the fool but that is democracy. He is just a voice in the wilderness.

JP it’s so lovely to read your cheery post, genuinely, good to see your spirits raised, take Monty for a celebratory pint :good:

As for the election, I voted for the Green Party, I like the policies of my local MP.

    Absolutely JP……..

However, I will have to eat my hat if Labour deliver on their promises, shorter NHS waits, etc.

We are also going to see some SYB’s (seen you before’s), such as Farage… couldn’t be better? What a bunch of Bumbling Oafs :-(

LONDON, July 5 (Reuters) – Brexit kingpin Nigel Farage has finally won a seat in Britain’s parliament at the eighth attempt and is as determined to be as much of a “bloody nuisance” there as he was to European Union leaders as a member of the European Parliament.

Galloway has been put back in his box but I worry Corbyn will be back at Labours top table very soon.

Starmer campaigned for him to be PM.

I’m delighted that Rees Mogg has been removed….

Bonjour he isn’t a Labour MP,how would that work?

    5th July 2024 at 1:13 pm #601276

Starmer campaigned for him to be PM. REPLY new

That was a long time ago and Starmer did throw him out of the labour party, why would he want him back? he made the party un-electable, and would do again, he is toxic.

Starmer is well known for changing his mind, he is weak. Now that he is in power we will see what he is really like. I don’t see him lasting a year unless he sides with stronger characters.

He is apparently having a gang of four decision makers who will be above the cabinet. I can easily see Khan and Corbyn being advisers to that at the very least.

The Conservatives got what they deserved, and so did the SNP. Let’s see what happens now, and hope that Labour can control their loonie element.
