I considered Cameron to be a reasonably good Prime Minister right up until the Brexit vote, but I lost all respect for him when he just walked away from the mess that he had inadvertently created and left others to sort it out. That was not the behaviour of an honorable man. If he has any self respect he would go away and not show his face in politics again.

Cameron gave the Brexit vote to the people because the parliamentarians were making life impossible…the voices within the party were making it hard to govern…the party already split…you have short memories!
he actually never thought that the Brexit vote would win…thanks to the lies of Nigel Farage and the infamous creep Boris…the country was given a choice…Cameron was completely shocked that the vote went against him and remain.
The red wall…threw the Uk under the bus!
I actually believe he did the honorable thing by resigning…he did not believe in Brexit…
The conservatives then fall on Boris …the biggest liar …to put his oven ready chicken in the oven…
blame the stupidly of the voters…not thinking passed immigration….having control of their borders…what a joke!
They are now paying the price…Brexit…the biggest joke of all.
i don’t know if you have read Cameron’s memoirs…and others …at the time…I did…it was the biggest Con…ever committed..Brexit…and the Labour Party knew it…but never opened their mouths.
Brexit and Boris destroyed a party already fractured by years of dissent over Europe…the old Grandees who thought the UK was still a world power….ignoring the changing face of the world.
only my opinion…but I feel better for voicing it.

I’m happy I’m not totally alone!
strange that no one is holding the Labour Party responsible for their total lack of direction during the Brexit vote.
I think Corbyn actually wanted Brexit
As a UK resident who lived through it I agree with Marmite
As a British voter …deprived of her vote…I can promise you I watched every debate …read every article and was horrified by the lies being spouted.
Living in France doesn’t mean ignoring what’s happening in the Uk…in fact as a British person living in Europe it possibly meant more to me….being in a train going over a cliff!
The effects on us….was immediate …so many things that we had taken for granted…changed.
So many unknowns.

I wasn’t saying that you shouldn’t be involved at all, what I was saying was I was among it listening to conversations etc and what people were thinking
I agree Cossie…wasn’t arguing …just say ing it was important for us all…in some ways we ,abroad were even more interested…I had a friend who was standing for UKIP staying for a few days…we had some real friendly eye ball to eye balls….
Ask yourself…would you have committed 100% to living in France 25 years ago as we did…if you thought that the Uk would leave Europe?…as it’s turned out…the French have been amazingly good with those of us that have stayed..
But there were several hoops to jump through.
