Just got home from a trip to find new telgraphp poles have been erected down my drive, I am lead to believe its for FOC, I dont want Fiber nor do I want poles and overhead cables down my drive, many years ago we laid out considerable sums to have all our overhead cables both telecom and electric installed below ground.

Anyone else had this, anyone know how to stop it??

We dont need a phone line or internet via cable as we have Starlink and are installing a internet phone.

Tried calling Orange and they just shrug there shoulders and pass it along to someone else

I have recently had a plastic pole erected just outside my drive, it is right next to an existing concrete power line pole.

It enhances the view no end!

When you say “down my drive” do you mean these poles have been erected on your own private land?

I don’t have any experience of telecom poles but a few years ago Enedis (the distribution part of EDF) recabled the supply to our tiny hamlet and sited a new pole on our land to the existing line over our land.

They did inform us in advance with official forms etc but there was no option to refuse it.
