    The Festival of Hydrangeas at Mahalon. Not everyone’s cup of tea but for Hydrangea lovers/collectors like us it was an ideal way to spend a wet Saturday afternoon.

    Bonjour, we were just visitors. But we did buy cuttings of several varieties that we don’t have in the garden and saw several more that we would like to get for our collection.

    Here is one I bought from Pont Vert a few years ago, he lives in a big pot on the patio.

    I would be happy to swap a few cuttings if anyone is interested?

    Thank you. That second to last one with the five hooded and cuddled up girls epitomises friendship to me. I turned up there at about 3.30 am and they were like that when i got there and until after 5am. It was quite sweet.❤️

    Around the garden at the moment …. the hydrangeas are finally coming towards a peak. Up here in the Monts d’Arrée on our north facing hill things are always behind other people’s gardens but this year they are particularly late.
