We have recently had a nightly visit from a creature, he/her makes a V short, high pitched “twee” sound at about 3 second intervals, any ideas?
    Not a Little Owl.
    Thanks.

A toad? They can make some funny noises that do not sound very toadlike

    Is it like this Bill?

Foxes can make some noises you wouldn’t exactly expect from a dog like animal, and are very common

G, wondered about Belette, as we had a pair in the garden last year, really lovely/funny when one, was sitting up, curious, like a tiny bear, surveying Babeth, from not much more than a meter away.

Was Babeth saw them on her way back from work, she showed me, they were lovely, the young sitting in a big oak, an adult “hovering around”, a bit worried about us, we didn’t stay long, really nice to know what’s keeping me blxxdy awake at least :good:

Yes you can forgive sleepless nights if it is because of something so magical :rose:
