On checking our CA online bank yesterday, I saw that our insurance company, MMA, had credited us with nearly 1400 euros and we don’t know why. Does anyone know how long they have to correct their mistake and take it back?
If it’s for medical insurance, I understand that some insurers reimburse some of the fees, if the policy has not been used during that year.
I had a mystery payment into my account early December. I checked out the origin, then checked with them to ask why. It was from my employer (part-time). I was told it was because I was an employee. I still haven’t sussed out whether it’s a bonus payment although that is hardly likely considering the number of hours I work, this year especially when business has been devastated, and no mention of it anywhere in contracts/agreements, etc. Or whether it’s some sort of furlough payment from government, but it bears no relation to my actual salary (substantially more), and despite the fact that I have been receiving full salary anyway, despite being unable to work for six months, although redundancy is on the cards for the New Year due to the pandemic affecting business so badly.
I’ve put it to one side until I can fathom out whether it’s legit, or what it’s for.
