    22nd October 2017 at 11:07 pm #242694

Angel Delight, haven’t heard that for 60yrs, amazed it’s still available, loved it!

    22nd October 2017 at 11:25 pm #242699

It was my son’s favourite Angel Delight, the caramel flavour one!

Tomorrow I might make a Chicken, onion and mushroom risotto , and there will still be enough left over for another meal!  Plus a Apple sponge for Pud!  :rose:

    23rd October 2017 at 1:35 pm #242802

Ah that’s a shame SS. That happened to us, we had popped back to the UK for a few days, agent had the keys for viewings , and very kindly switched off all electrics when they left!  Whole of Christmas food totally thawed out by the time we returned. Got the Gallic shrug when we mentioned it!  :rose:

    23rd October 2017 at 4:18 pm #242908

Yes Bill, I did say a rude word!   BE what is in ‘Polish Spice’ ?

    23rd October 2017 at 4:24 pm #242915

    Bet you did!!!

I was hoping someone would ask that Blue :good: Mansion?

    23rd October 2017 at 4:24 pm #242920

Can’t decide what to have tonight – it will be ‘pot luck’ what I pull out of the fridge/freezer/cupboard. Think it will be chicken in breadcrumbs with something. Or may be Fray Bentos pie (out of a tin, my husband loves them).

I have a craving now for Angel Delight – used to like butterscotch and also chocolate mint (not together!). Does anyone remember Dream Topping? – a powdered faux cream that you had to mix with milk or water (can’t remember which).

    23rd October 2017 at 4:33 pm #242938
