    Definately Mdm G.  I asked her who  they were, she didn’t recognize Mick. But after several mins, she came back with…….”It might be Michel, but Dag was the giveaway. Plus of course Claudine, or Claude. …….. She just walked in and told me she read them to her daughter when she was a wee lass in Scotland.

    The French translations: Claudine (Claude) = George, François  = Julian, Michel (Mick) = Dick, Annie =Ann and Dagobert = Timmy.
