first spotted this place about a month ago while running so we walked up along the canal today and called in. really good freshly made galettes/crepes/cidre etc all locally sourced ingredients. ramshackle hippie feel in a really beautiful spot the chef says he opened at the start July and will be open every day (we were there about 3:30ish today so presume food served all day) through août and start septembre, weekends october. it’s at ecluse 147 restouel not far along from Mellionnec
yes we called in there first as I normally run the other side of the canal so wanted a look; it’s surprisingly needing quite a lot of renovation as there were broken stained glass sections and the stone floor was mouldy. roof looks like it needs attention too. the popup creperie’s just at the next bridge after the chapelle
Hello,
I am interested in creperies in Brittany. I realize that Covid-19 has changed everything but if you (and anybody else) come across places like this could you send them along to me. I am hoping to get over to Rennes for crepe school when we can travel again.
Look forward to hearing from you and thank you.
Cordelia
