I no longer pay out for Prime on Amazon and I notice that the option to save a delivery charge by ordering a certain value of qualifying items has gone from £25 to.£35!!
Fortunately eldest daughter has got Prime so she orders anything I want to be delivered to me & I transfer her the money but that’s a big increase.
For the second time in a week Amazon sent parcels by Collis Prive, as I have said previously Collis Prive do not deliver to our rural area. I have had three lots of 5 Euro vouchers this month from them but this time they backed it up with a request for me to review the item I have not received.
After more remedial training I ended up with another 10 Euro voucher.
It is ridiculous that Amazon continue to send parcels via a firm that won’t deliver them.
10th July 2024 at 9:10 am #601411Am I an odd one out I get anything I order from Amazon delivered by chronopost. Do not think from what you have said I live too far away from you. Do you use Amazon.de?
10th July 2024 at 9:28 am #601420I always use Amazon.de. I change the language to English. The big advantage for me is that they make Amazon Prime optional and very clearly optional. It is not something we want so it is easy not to use. Delivery is usually very quick and the site is often less expensive than Amazon.fr. Last thing I ordered was a new oil lamp as could not find one locally (still do not trust our winter electricity) It was delivered by our smiling facteuse beautifully packaged. We are about 30 mins from you

I think Amazon are losing a lot of trade to other companies that are doing the same thing but are offering free delivery on everything.I haven,t ordered anything from Amazon for some time now, their delivery charges kept going up and they seem to have stopped the option of delivery to a point relais, which i always used to opt for.
