Best place for Corbyn and his rent a mob is a one way ticket to Gaza.
You’re right Picon…but I’m so tired of politicians having their own agenda…they are voted in…elected to serve the country and their constituency…Boris Johnson was a prime example…get rich quick, to hell with the country…others were at least more discreet…Tony Blair..etc…they lined their own pockets quietly.Neil kinnock managed to make his entire family multi millionaires…by popping them all on the European gravy train.
Incidentally those employed by the Eu…pay no income tax….not bad eh?

Do EU staff pay tax?
Although salaries paid to EU officials are not subject to national income tax, a community tax of between 8% and 45% is levied on the taxable portion of the salary. Social security contributions are 10% for pensions and 2% for health insurance.
Having read the letter in full, if the contents are a true record of what happened,
(I doubt that she would have published it if the details are not true)
It says more about Rishi Sunak than Suella Braverman.
Sunak seem to be good at talking the talk, but doesn’t want to or can’t walk the walk when required to do so.

15th November 2023 at 7:40 am #593268You can say what you like but there is no getting away from the fact Sue B says it as it is and speaks for the majority of people, she is a straight talker and doesnt mind the flack, I think her letter was spot on, political parties need people that have thier own minds and say it as it is instead of the bum lickers that seem to be abundant these days
She is a politician, of course she is devious.
I just looked up politician on the search bar, the result I have copied and pasted.
a person who acts in a manipulative and devious way, typically to gain advancement within an organization.

The situation in France couldn’t be more different.
“The total removals of illegal aliens [in 2022] is up compared to 2021 (15,396 removals, or +14.9% compared to 2021)
Official french governmemt figures.
https://www.vie-publique.fr/en-bref/287990-immigration-les-chiffres-pour-2022
You will note that they are called “illegal aliens” not asylum seekers.
How do they cope with the ECHR if the UK cannot?
Perhaps France has a legal system that does what is best for France, instead of as in the UK, what is best for the lawyer’s pockets?
