I suspect Sunak won’t last long now.

Yes, I think RichMe has made a booboo there. A lot of party support for SB, let alone the fact that she said what a lot of people think.

She slipped up by accusing the Met of left wing bias in the Times, and was therefore considered to have stirred up a lot of bad feeling on Saturday As Home Secretary its not a good idea to accuse your biggest police service of stuff like that

    James Cleverly is her replacement

But the met is singing to Khan’s song book and they do not even appear to be unbiased.

The law should be enforced across the board and without prejudice.

If they cannot be trusted and or allowed to do so there will be terrible consequences.

The Commissioner applied the law fairly, the right to free speech is a human right. Although one the Conservatives seem to want to remove

    Compare with:-

182,000 people turned out on Sunday, November 12, to march against anti-Semitism across France, including 105,000 in Paris, according to the Ministry of Interior and the police prefecture.

“Our order of the day today is… the total fight against anti-Semitism which is the opposite of the values of the republic,”

    https://www.lemonde.fr/en/france/article/2023/11/12/over-180-000-people-rally-against-anti-semitism-across-france_6249122_7.html

    But in the UK :-

“In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act”

    George Orwell

70 odd million people in the Uk who didn’t march….

    180 k…is not representative of the population….

Im afraid it’s the noisy …usually  disruptive minority that march and cause trouble.

Several of these so called angry people were interviewed…they had no idea what had happened on October 6th…who is Hamas?they literally wanted a convivial day out …with others of the same ilk.

people power?no bullies. who mostly only wanted a fight.

yesof course there were caring people …who hate seeing suffering…but no one should be blind to the suffering of the Jewish people.

ask yourself why Egypt …Jordan and many other Arab countries do not invite Palestinians to enjoy life in their countries…it’s because they have caused enormous problems wherever they are.

Any religion that tells its followers to kill…is not my sort of religion.

It is all braverman ever did, talk. she achieved absolutely nothing just like patel before her. Totally and utterly useless. So cameron is back. the imbecile who gave us brexit with no plan b and then when it all went wrong, he ran away and hid. No one with even the tiniest shred of self respect or decency would ever show their face in British politics again but we are talking cameron so no surprise there.

Just bring on the election, I can’t wait.

Not only that but they have fast tracked him into the House of Lords. Despicable and unforgiveable.

A person who is not even an MP and therefore elected by no one to be able to be Foreign Secretary is as absurd as it is wrong.

Say what you like…the right wing tory party demanded a referendum..he gave it to them..not taking into account the huge labour vote…so called red wall…which actually pushed Brexit over the line.

ibelieve he did the honorable thing by resigning….he did not want Brexit.

Will his presence save the conservatives…?no…Im afraid we are doomed…see what happens to the pound straight after the election….you ll probably have something else to complain about…..sadly so will I .

    13th November 2023 at 3:25 pm #593210

I think that by his actions Sunak has admitted that none of his MP’s are capable of being Foreign Secretary and that he isn’t capable of being Leader or Prime minister.

He must call a General Election now.
