Finally found this app. and downloaded it. Bit of a faff and a long time to install, but, hey, worth the wait. Yes, it is very good. Thanks for the tip.
A wonderful app that brings so much pleasure, information and a great learning instrument. As well as lots of common species, I have recorded a blackcap, garden warbler and a Turtle Dove who we now call Tilley. She is usually in the orchard or surrounding trees. I am hoping one day to see her at our bird feeding station. Whilst no expert, I can identify many more birds with certainty.
Out on this morning’s walk in the parc natural du Morvan here in Burgundy I fired up the App for 90 seconds. It recognised Great tit, Blue tit and marsh tit as well as Short toed tree creeper, Common Chaffinch, Wren, Blackbird, Robin and Turtle dove.
Very good 👍
Ditto Bonjour. Yesterday the app confirmed this years arrivals of Fieldfares from Scandinavia. They arrived en masse to the orchard next door and the sound of their chatterings is wonderful. This is a photo I took some years ago.
