Don’t be pushed around by the fears in your mind. Be led by the dreams in your heart. Instead of worrying about what you cannot control, shift your energy to what you can create….. Believe in yourself.

“Don’t count the days, make the days count” – Muhammed Ali….what an absolute legend!

Happiness is an attitude. We either make ourselves miserable, or happy and strong.

My father always told me …smile…it disarms people.

    He was right.

    What does that mean Marmite?

    15th June 2024 at 2:38 pm #600450

It means be prepared to bend….willows bend in the wind…oaks ..may be strong but they break.

whatever life throws at you…bend…go with it….

Thanks Marmite, I hadn’t heard of that before.

You are never too old to set another goal or dream a new dream. Every day may not be good… but there’s something good in every day. The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little extra. Be so happy that, when other people look at you, they become happy too.

My own is to never waste a worry. I worry not about things over which I have no control, or those which might happen, they might not. The worry is wasted.

Everyone worries..it’s normal…what I hate is the 3 am worries…turning over in your mind..I read somewhere what the cure is….you promise yourself you will deal with it first thing in the morning.

    Doesnt work.

Yes Marmite of course everyone does, I wasn’t being flippant, merely stating my own thoughts and my way of dealing with them. Of course there are times when I am hard pushed to do so but I try.

    Back to Tina’s uplifting thoughts-

Aim at the sun you, may not reach it but you will fly far higher than if you aimed at something on your level

If you are positive, you’ll see opportunities instead of obstacles.

My mother always said…..when the lord closes a door…he opens a window!

i once repeated this to a close French friend who was having a hard time…years later she still repeats it …saying how true it is.
